The Federal High Court in Abuja has thrown out a suit seeking the removal of Abdullahi Ganduje, as the National Chairman of the All-Progressive Congress.
Justice Inyang Ekwo who delivered the judgement said the claimant – the Northern Central APC forum lacked the right to institute the suit as it is not a registered body.
Justice Ekwo further invalidated the suit on the premise that the members who constituted the forum failed to explore the internal mechanism of the political party for peaceful resolution of issues on the subject matter before approaching the court.
The forum had sought the sack of Ganduje on the premise that the APC National Executive Committee breached the party’s constitution when it appointed a chairman from Kano State in the North West geopolitical zone to replace Abdullahi Adamu from Nasarawa State in the North Central geopolitical zone.
