The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate for Offa Local Government Area, Kwara State, Salahudeen Lukman, has claimed that the election did not take place in the council.2
In a statement, Lukman slammed the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) for failing to deliver election materials on time to the 173 polling units in Offa.
He said by 1:00 PM, materials had not arrived at 95% of the units, and where they did, critical items like ballot papers and result sheets were incomplete or missing.
He expressed disappointment over the situation, calling into question the credibility of the electoral process and urging KWASIEC to reschedule the election.
