COURT ARRAIGNS HUNGER PROTESTS, RULES ON BAIL SEPT 11[PRES]The Federal High Court has fixed 11 September to rule on the application for bail by persons arrested by the Nigerian government for taking part in the #EndBadGovernance protests of August 1st to 10th.Ten persons arraigned before a Federal High Court Judge Emeka Nwite, pleaded not guilty on six-counts bordering on treasonable felony and an alleged plot to topple a democratically-elected government.They were accused of wreaking havoc in the FCT, Kaduna, Kano, Gombe, Jos, and other cities in the heat of the protests.Counsel for the Inspector General of Police informed the Court that #EndBadGovernance protest was masterminded by a British national Andrew Wynne with an agenda to topple the government and plunge the nation into chaos.
