A Russian missile Friday struck a supermarket in Kostiantynivka, a front-line town in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, killing at least 14 people and injuring 43.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy condemned the strike which caused a massive fire and noted that emergency services were searching the rubble for survivors.
Ukrainian authorities say the attack involved a Kh-38 air-to-surface missile, though Russia has not yet commented.
Meanwhile, Sweden’s ambassador to Mali’s capital Bamako has been ordered to leave the country within 72 hours, according to the African nation’s foreign ministry that slammed a “hostile” comment related to Ukraine.
Sweden’s minister for international development cooperation and trade, Johan Forssell, had announced on Wednesday that the European country will phase out aid to Mali in support of Ukraine.
