The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has recovered a private sector participant truck that plunged into the lagoon at the Iyana-Oworo Area of the State.
According to LASEMA Permanent Secretary, Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, the truck fell into the lagoon after its tyre burst on motion.
Subsequently, two occupants of the truck were rescued after the incident occurred.
With the truck now recovered, the third mainland bridge which was previously closed to fast track recovery operations has now been reopened for passage.
