Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of has approved N45,000 financial assistance for each employee under the State Unified Local Government Service and Local Education Authorities, Ahead of the Eid-l-Kabir Salah celebration.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the gesture is designed to ease the financial burden on civil servants during the festive period.
Mohammed said the financial support consists of two parts – N30,000 Loan/Advance which will be repaid in three instalments of N10,000 per month over July, August, and September, and a N15,000 Sallah gift to enable each worker in the state partake in the Eid-l-Kabir festivities without financial constraints.
Reacting to the news, State Head of Service, Falalu Bawale hailed the governor for the support, stating that the funds will undoubtedly bring relief to numerous households.
