President Muhamadu Buhari has convened National Security Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
The ongoing meeting chaired by the President is attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; and Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.
Minister of Defense, Bashir Magashi; Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; and Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Dingyadi are also in attendance.
Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, led the service chiefs, including the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, to the meeting.
The meeting also has the Inspector-General of Police, Baba Usman; Director-General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar; and Chief of Defense Intelligence, Samuel Adebayo.
