NDLEA operatives have intercepted drug consignments hidden in a car, recovering 426,888 tramadol pills and other illicit drugs in Adamawa and Bauchi states.
The NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi said two suspects Ajim Samuel (aka Boss), 30, and Davidson Joshua (aka Dantala), 36 were arrested with 14,428 tramadol pills concealed in their car’s compartments in Adamawa.
In Osun State, a commercial bus driver was arrested with 2,000 tramadol capsules, 60 Rohypnol tablets, and 10 codeine syrup bottles hidden in the spare tire compartment.
He said another breakthrough interception in Bauchi resulted in the discovery of 343,000 opioid pills seized from a suspect while another suspect was transferred to NDLEA with 64,000 tramadol pills.
