The management of the late Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba alias Mohbad, has slammed his father, Joseph Aloba, with a N200 million defamation suit.
This follows revelations by the late singer’s father that his 26-year-old son left behind a thumbprint-only will that was not signed which he said was awkward as Mohbad was literate enough to sign it.
Joseph Aloba further accused his late son’s wife, Wunmi, alongside her lawyer, of using the singer’s finger to thumbprint on the will after his death.
But Mohbad’s management rebuffed the allegation in a statement, describing the alleged will as unreal and demanded that Mohbad’s father retract what they called “slanderous” remarks and provide a public apology.
The management is also demanding N200 million in damages.
