The speaker of the house of representatives, Tajudeen Abbas says Nigeria’s divers’ population and excellent spirit should be the bedrock of productivity in all sector, arguing that the nation has what it takes to sustain itself and serve Africa comfortably.
Abbas said this at the lecture to mark the 61st birthday of the President of the senate, Godswill Apkabio, stating that effective policy making through innovative governance is a step in the right direction for Nigeria, charging the current crop of politicians to be dynamic in their approach.
The lawmaker submitted that the stature of the nation is bigger than its current capacities, noting that all agenda of the government must be translated from projections phase to execution to engender a solid base for the transformation, promising that the lawmaking arm will support every other arm of government for efficiency.
Abbas also assured the President of maximum cooperation and collaboration of the 10th national assembly, submitting that the legislature has never been as harmonized as it is under the current administration.
