President Bola Tinubu has appointed former National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Lanre Issa-Onilu, as the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).
According to a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Issa-Onilu’s appointment was made along with seven others for agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
According to the statement Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos was appointed as Director-General/ CEO, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Muhammed Bulama to head Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Charles Ebuebu as Director-General / CEO National Broadcasting Commission (NBC),
Jibrin Baba Ndace as Director-General / CEO, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Lekan Fadolapo to head Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Ali Muhammed Ali Director / CEO, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Nigerian Press Council (NPC) to be headed by Dili Ezughah.
The President also implored the newly entrusted leadership in these important sub-sectors to create new opportunities, introduce effective reform and showcase Nigeria to the rest of the world.
