Nigeria Labour Congress has called for an emergency National Executive Council (NEC) meeting after meeting with the Federal Government to address the dispute arising from the removal of Petrol Subsidy.
According to a statement signed by the NLC General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja, the virtual meeting is scheduled for Monday 2 October by 11 am.
This development is coming shortly after a meeting with the Federal Government which was chaired by Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
At the meeting the Congress would decide either to continue with it’s planned national strike or call it off.
