The Delta state Governorship election Petition Tribunal has upheld the election of Governor sheriff oborevwori of the Peoples democratic party.
In a judgement by a three member tribunal headed by justice Ahuchaogu, the tribunal dismissed the petition of APC and its candidate, Ovie omo agege for presenting unsubstantiated allegations, noting that it was devoid of merit and speculative.
The tribunal held that the petitioners failed to prove allegations of non-compliance with the Electoral Act, corrupt practices beyond a reasonable doubt.
