Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo Kanayo says he should be considered a senior to Pete Edochie in Nollywood as he ventured into the industry before him.
In an online interview, Kanayo clarified that Pete Edochie launched into cinema projects before him but that he and other actors in the 1992/93 hit movie Living In Bondage were among the pioneers of Nollywood.

He also said the Nigerian movie industry should not be an avenue for Brazilian Butt Lift, cooperate sex workers, gays or people attempting to learn how to act.
He added that the movie industry should not be a playing ground for amateurs or Instagram stars, rather, a ground for talented professionals.
