The Nigerian Official Selection Committee (NOSC) for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has called on Nigerian filmmakers to submit their feature films for consideration in the International Feature Film (IFF) category of the 96th Annual Academy Awards also known as the (Oscars).
The NOSC will choose one film as the country’s official submission for the IFF Award.
The category is dedicated to feature-length motion pictures produced outside the United States that contains 50% or more in a language or languages other than English, in addition to other qualifying criteria stipulated by the academy.
Head of NOSC, Stephanie Linus disclosed that the portal would open today until Sept 15, 2023.
