Protesting Benue women on Friday mounted a roadblock on Makurdi/Laafia/Abuja federal highway, demonstrating against the killing of five people by suspected herders.
One of the women explained that five people were killed in separate attacks by suspected herdsmen in two communities in the Guma Local Government area of Benue State.
The woman who simply identified herself as Sunny said while three were killed at Ngban another two were murdered at Nyian.
The report was confirmed by the security officer of Guma Local Government, Christopher Waku.
