Ahead of the proclamation of the 10th National Assembly, President Bola Tinubu will Next Monday, June 5, meet opposition Senators and House of Representatives members.
Although the agenda for discussion cannot be officially ascertained yet, it is believed it would be centered around the the quest to strengthen a harmonious relationship between the Executive and Legislature as well as fine-tuning the process of electing leadership of of the National Assembly.
An invitation to the opposition senators and members-elect said President Tinubu would be meeting with senators by 3pm and the members of the House of Representatives by 5pm.
The invitation, signed by Tijanni Umar, the Permanent Secretary of the State House, on behalf of the President’s Chief of Staff, urged the lawmakers to attend and submit their list for security clearance.
