Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has blasted the Peoples Democratic Party stakeholders in the state for flouting his directives on political appointments.
The governor insisted that any list presented to him by the leadership of the party in the state must meet the laid down criteria he had given.
Fintiri made this known in a message to the party leadership via his Twitter handle on Saturday.
Fintiri said he would not accept “any mechanically fabricated list from” the party’s leadership for appointment in his cabinet.
He said: “I will not accept any mechanically fabricated list from Peoples Democratic Party stakeholders in Adamawa, who disregarded my earlier directives to present their best 11 for political appointment through proper consultations with their constituents.
“It is essential to ensure that everybody is carried along for a proper representation. Any list that does not meet the criteria or instructions I previously laid down will be rejected.”
